What an insightful Documentary. China's development is a blessing that will motivate young people to explore their capabilities further to keep the country flourishing.

The Chinese society is flexible and open to change. Their promise is: Give us a superior product, at an affordable price, and we'll adopt it faster than any other country in the world Be it HSR, digital payments, EVs, domestic medicine, genetic treatments, low altitude economy, etc The Chinese consumer is dynamic and so is the economy.

I just came back from my Xmas holidays in China ( Shanghai, Beijing Xi’an and Chengdu ) and I can only say that reality far surpasses what we saw in this short documentary. I was blown away by the speed of EV adoption on China also the fast speed railway system 🤯… We also saw thousands of young Chinese tourists travelling and enjoying their cultural and historical heritage like I have never seen before in any other country I have visited. This documentary is a great work and I hope more people in English speaking countries can watch this and have an alternative view to that offer in traditional media outlets, otherwise they are simply missing out !!

What happened was simply sending young people around the world to learn and while waiting for their return a structure was created that allowed these young people to improve the country without any kind of limitation Like leaving your village in a remote place and coming back to find that it is connected to a super fast train line with facilities that allow you to apply your studies in less than 1 year

Competition is very welcome so I wish china the best. In the video you see a lot of european technology especialy in the lab section microscopes from Zeiss and centrifuges from Eppendorf. This equipment is super expensive since only a few universities buy that stuff there are no econemies of scale yet. With china focusing more on biotec prices could fall which is good for all working in the field.

The proposed subscription business model is probably the worst and most destructive idea since monopolies began, and should be classified as a crime. Once they have you as a subscriber client, they can increase the price as and when they want, as well as colluding with other manufacturers, to make sure the illusion of choice is maintained.

It's a bit sad, but their commitment to the replaceable battery format will ultimately be Nio's undoing. Their expectation that it can become the mainstream format doesn't seem realistic.
@DynastyEmory16 күн бұрын
I think the replaceable battery makes sense if NIO can scale the service and technology globally. I believe consumers will prefer a quick replaceable battery (that saves them a whole lot of charging time) and a possible continued excellent battery health, than time consuming plug in charging technology with degrading batteries. The car autonomously navigating the battery replacement center and back to its owner is also an enticing added convenience imo.

Once all-solid-state batteries are developed and can be charged in just a few minutes with a driving range exceeding 1,500 km, battery-swappable vehicles will likely be used only by a few companies, such as taxi companies.

Does this channel receive support from the Chinese government? It only talks about the good aspects. Do these car companies practice 996 work hours? How about the over 20% of young people who can’t find work and “laying flat” or become “adult children”. Yes, the technological advancement is amazing but good journalists provide balanced perspective on issues!
