I used cameras back in the 70’s that had the same magnification as the P1000. They just weren’t as convenient.

I'll be out, banging pots together to scare away the celestial dragon from swallowing the Sun. You can thank me on 9 April.

My dream is that this isn't entirely an April Fool's joke, and that you have all been conspiring to create an amazing flat earth documentary parody that is at least ninety minutes long.

A near, wet and sharp horizon in front of the light from the sky? No, that is not ”see too far” away. It is ”see too far” down.

Those silly flatearthers used a map of the globe Earth for turn by turn directions to the camera shop. All black swans are located and distances involved calculated on the map of the globe Earth. Lake Michigan, the Chicago skyline and the distance across the lake are all found on the map of the globe Earth. Thanks Rob Skiba!

Only one word needed to sink this stupidity …..refraction.
@thecasualengineer999 ай бұрын
Also "repeatable" why was there only one occurance of the black swan? Why isn't it repeatable on every day of the year.. oh of course, how silly of me, refraction!!

its ok aslong as you aren't pushing it. But there are much better camera/lens combinations out there,, and for stars how about a newt or dobs scope?
