G. N. B was a rare artist with an inimitable voice , unique style of singing, and the most pleasing appearance. My salutes to the great doyen of carnatic music. I still remember about 60 yrs back when my father took me to his concert at RR Sabha at Mylapore. A tall fair figure with kadukkan on his ears & vethila potti in hand he walked into the auditorium, immediately all rasikas stood up as reverence to the great musician. No doubt excellent concert followed.
