Documentary about the trade in codfish in the Lofoten archipelago, made by Robin Jean and Leo Dutoyer, in association with the Bayeux-Norvège organisation.
Famous for its outstanding landscapes consisting of mountains, glaciers, and of numerous fjords, Norway is also well-known for its fishing industry. In the maze of the Lofoten Islands, a remote archipelago in the north of the Scandinavian country, skrei fishing or Norwegian Arctic cod fishing takes place every winter in Lofoten.

je viens d'apprendre que la morue et le cabillaud sont enfaite le même poisson qui a plusieurs noms, quelqu'un sait pourquoi il n'a pas qu'un seul nom ? comme " cod " en anglais pour désigner un cabillaud/morue

Oui le nom "cabillaud" est attribué au poisson frais, tandis que la morue est tout simplement un cabillaud séché, salé, et coupé en filet. À noter que la France est le seul pays à faire cette distinction... pour ce qui est de la raison, aucune idée :)
