Hi Pulana, 1. So if it comes back and the stamp is dated August 2022, not sure of the exact date, let’s say August 31st - 31 September, 31 October, 31 November, 31 December, 31 January, 31 February - it will expire end of Feb if you get it end of August. as long as it’s valid by the time you land in Korea you’ll be 👌🏾if you are coming here in Jan or Feb you are good 👍🏾 2. once all your documents are ready and EPIK/Hagwon asks you to send them your physical documents this is where your dirco documents will go. Ultimately all your documents will be sent to EPIK or Hagwon which ever one your applying with 😋

Hey Annah, thank you so much for the break down. I just got my proof of English from one school and they have my names as stated in the ID, HOWEVER they decided to put the surname before my names. I'm just checking with you to advice whether that is ok, since you say they are a bit too much... so just to make sure all my documents thus far have [1st name, 2nd name and Surname] and this one has [Surname, 1st name, 2nd name]

Hi Kgomotso, Thank you for watching ❤️ My agency was very particular and asked I made changes to mine when it didn’t match my ID/passport. For it was that they used my 2nd and last name but did not include my 1st name. Our issues are not the same but If I were you I’d email your school back asking they correct it. That way you don’t find out later on in your application to make the changes and then you are pressed for time

Hi Kellie! Thank you for watching 🌸 glad you are finding the videos informative. DIRCO only does the apostilling. So the first you would need to do is SAQA - SAQA will verify your documents and produce a verification letter. You then send this to DIRCO who will produce the Apostilled document

Hi Oratile, Tax exemption are for public schools since you are working for the Korean government. Since this concerns tax laws between SA government and Korean government Hagwons are private and thus are not under the government

Hi Kgomotso, I had sent EPIK a digital copy when I applied and then I printed it off when they wanted the physical documents. The print out sufficed for me.

They want your recommendation letters. Wherever you have worked before ask them to write you a recommendation letter. Recommending you to work as an English teacher

Nope, they specifically want the letter from your school (EPIK is picky and extremely specific)

You definitely need to fill in the application again and interview again. EPIK will treat it as a new application. Did you courier any documents to them ? Documentation wise, you will just need to redo your PCC because that needs to be valid by the time you arrive. (PCC is valid for 6 months). Any document that has expired and needs to be valid by the time you come you’ll need to redo it. Those that don’t fall in this list you can just use again 😋 Hope this answers your question

@@authenticlee4701 believe me I know how you feel! I applied 3 times with EPIK. With me, my agency kept all my documents so I just needed to redo my police clearance each time, complete the application and interview. If you are applying again to EPIK, pop them an email if you need to resend your documents for the new application or can you just send the missing documents. If you are applying else where you’ll need to start all of your documentation again and send to wherever your applying.
