Have you seen her live yet? I did 8 times in 2018. Absolutely hooked! I like her more than Samantha Fish, and I've seen her 29 times since my introduction at the 2013 Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival, my hometown one and always killer. She has played here at least once, I was dancing and telling all that asked who she was. Probably my favorite musician and a super nice you lady too. Her crowdfunded "Honey Up" was my favorite album purchase of 2018, and it was in the top 50 albums in Blues Blast Magazine's reader survey with 110k responses in the reader survey for the year. People sometimes tell me, "well, they don't play near enough to me." Turn a show or three into the genesis of a vacation. I flew from MD to Chattanooga to see Samantha Fish for the 5th time in August of 2015, it was an amazing show despite the weather. Luckily family lives there so I had a place to stay and didn't need to rent a car, but a great 3 day vacation bar none! Too many people tell me "I've seen them live on KZbin a lot, and they're amazing, taht's good enough." Hardly, it's a great night when you can feel the bass in your body or at my favorite place in the DC area, the subwoofers under the stage shake your khakis yet the sound system and sound guy are good enough that no one goes deaf. Going to a show is certainly one of my favorite things to do, I've made may friends doing it, and with blues, it isn't even that expensive, unless it's Joe Bonomassa. (He said that Samantha Fish is the best blues guitarist BTW.) Annapolis has a great live music scene too. Look up my friend Michael McHenry. He is 62 and has been playing since a criminal gave him a 1970 strat when he was 12. By the time he was 18, George Clinton saw him play and said, "get the F in my bus, you're in my band!" They toured together for three years until Mike refused to smoke a joint with George. George said, "man, if we can't share a joint then you can't be in my band anymore." Mike is humble to a fault but AMAZING, and his drummer Marty Bouchard is one of the top 3 I've ever seen live, along with Samantha Fish's former drummer for 5.5 years, Go-Go Ray and one from a local band Emmet Swimming, Tamer Eid. He played for the Egyptian prince when he was 4 or 5 years old. Cheers!

I had the good fortune to get to see her in person in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, last year. She's just great!. And I love that she not only is a terrific blues singer but also plays guitar and sax. I've always been a sucker for good sax.

Just saw her last night at a local concert in Pittsburgh. She can definitely sing the blues and plays the sax well too. All the musicians did a gret job and loved them! I wish them all much success in the future
