Nice job on the video! I agree on all points except beauty. I think its most beautiful car out and the fact that it has had this general design for sooooo long and still sells solidifies that statement. I never get tired of looking at these cars. I grew up with the first gen with my Dad and Uncles having numerous E bodies(Challengers and Cuda’s). I bought a 21 scat shaker for my 50th Birthday. I waited till I could buy it and only drive it on nice days. Everytime I get in this it brings me back to childhood except much improved, its faster, more comfortable and stops when you want it to. I personally like the latest proportions better than the original version, of course the 70/71 Cuda is probably the best looking muscle car of all time right with the 69/70 Mustang, thats just my humble opinion. Its good to see a younger guy talking the truth and the camera work was phenomenal!👍👍

Congrats on the Scat Pack! The shaker hoods are seriously cool. I feel I should clarify that I do see the Challenger as a gorgeous car in raw and intimidating sort of way. These are certainly going to be very collectible classics in the future. Thanks for watching man and thanks for the kind words!

Great review on a badass street muscle machine. 392s are still competitive at the dragstrip, street drags, and very streetable as an every day driver. Smiles per mile!😎

Nice job on this video. It's a great mix of cool animations, B-roll, narration, rolling shots, drone shots and interior & exterior shots. Equally well done is the commentary. Keep it up, you're very good at creating compelling content.

I have always been a Mustang guy. I have mad respect for all of the American muscle cars, but I always gravitated towards the Mustang. That was, until two weeks ago when I bought the 2023 Challenger RT Scat Pack. This video is spot on with how great of a ride it is. My only point of contention, it looks beautiful. No, it’s not as sleek as the Camaro or the ‘Stang, but it maintains the absolute CLASSIC muscle car body, but with some modern flair. Rock on

Yeah, going fast in a big heavy car is a thrill in itself. Indeed. The big old sedans of the 1960s & 70s (Lincoln, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, etc.) with their huge V8s were especially satisfying in this regard. The thing that I like about this new Challenger is that it is the size of a "regular" car. Comfortable and spacious inside. You know-the value of that cannot be understated. Especially in a car that you own and drive daily. I'm not saying that this Dodge is a big car, it's not. But it IS a proper size automobile. And...it gave up nothing in being that. This thing is the real deal in performance. Kudos, Dodge!! My favorite car of the many I've had (I'm 57) would have been the 1974 Buick Century Coupe. (Buick's version of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo). The Century had a 350 with the factory 4bbl. carburetor. And it was green with a white landau vinyl top. Interior - green dash and steering wheel. White vinyl seats. How 70s! Sold that cool car 40 years ago. (Went into the Navy) Miss that one!! Anyway, watching this review reminded me of that sweet soul sister of a car. Oh, and I walked away from two nasty accidents in it(16 year old driver). And the Century went on to fight another day. Twice. That this 392 engine makes that much power is impressive. Without a turbo!! Yeah, turbo charging is very, very effective but it does come with a cost : the turbo'd engines simply don't last as long. Big engines can make big power all by themselves. Of the many wildlife shots on this video my favorite is the puffer fish at 4:41. Now, you could've made that shot show up at 4:42 as a respectful homage to the mighty Oldsmobile of that name. But that would've opened up another can of worms. (Get the pun?) Loved watching this review! It was relaxing and exciting at the same time. And it sold me on the Challenger.

Roger, that Buick was solid and beautiful, but I’m surprised you didn’t nominate your gold ‘66 Plymouth Sport Fury as most relevant here. If I remember right, it had the “wide-block” 318 with solid lifters that would rev like a bat outta hell and that awesome Torque-Flite tranny. All that car needed was a Holley double-pumper and some traction bars.
@TheLeftPedal11 ай бұрын
Yeah I agree the big selling point for the Scat Pack for me is that it doesn’t need a turbo or supercharger to be fast. Not that I don’t love turbos and superchargers lol but it’s hard to beat a raw naturally-aspirated V8. Especially when it’s put in a comfy full sized car! Buick sure did make some good looking cars back in the day! The new ones are nice but they have certainly lost the “cool” factor that they used to have. Even today you’d probably have better luck getting girls with a 1974 Buick than a 2024.

You explained the concept of a MUSCLE car perfectly; we roll these " boats " because we love 'em. These cars pay homage to its lineage of the Scatpacks of old; they're NOT supposed to be small. I need room for my golf clubs while I'm haulin' a$$ to play at the club.

I will agree that it is the best looking current muscle car. Honestly, I feel like it's the only one left. I don't ever look at a Mustang or Camaro and feel any sense of wow. Every now and then I'll see one that someone has some interesting body kitting done but other than that, nothing to take a second look at. I've had my scat for a year and have a love hate relationship with it. I love driving it but I hate all of the attention I get. People taking pictures and videos while driving or when it's parked gets old. People reving and acting stupid around me also gets old. Maintenance and insurance is also not fun lol. But I do love driving it and it's comfy AF

I recently traded my 19 Ford Mustang with Ecoboost. I heavily modified it, I made it into a beautiful machine. But it was still a 4 cylinder. I now have a challenger RT scat pack and I feel so good bout my purchase. Do I miss my mustang of course I do but I feel I replaced it with a monster. My mustang was a project car plain and simple

Yes, only muscle car left after Chevy and Ford downsized into sportscar. I had a 2008 Mustang and 2013 Camaro before my 2017 SRT392. It's the true muscle car down to a pedal E brake. I dig the usable back seats and larger trunk. It's a keeper.

UCongratulations, kid. You get it. I'm contemplating a SRT with under 6,000 miles and it's not terribly practical in some ways. In others perfectly, in an era of going forth blindly I think I'm set on a 14 mpg (premium) big old dinosaur just like me ( in some ways) rather than embracing electric. Imagine how much an electric Challenger would weigh. We also don't have the infrastructure, they don't do great when it's cold and how DO they recycle those toxic Chinese batteries? I hear very bad things about that. USA
