Today we have my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona side-by-side with my 2009 Dodge Charger SXT! One has the 5.7L V8 Hemi with a stock exhaust, and the other has the 3.5L V6 with a custom exhaust. I did some revs, accelerations, drive-bys, and a rev battle with each car. Cool to see how it turned out!

I will have to say it's the best sounding 6 banger that I've ever heard, but still could never compare to a V8 and makes the LX cars look like toothless bulldogs 😂. I also did reso delete on my Challenger, and got rid of the factory system altogether. Went with 3" pipe and open chamber racing bullets, and now the 6.1 sounds menacing as hell🔥. Am going to install an aggressive cam soon, and then that Mopar will really rock n roll 💪🏼😎

Marspeed save the undercarriage of the rt so it doesnt become like your v6.you got some severe weather that eats away at your cars. After every winter , jack up the car and use some clr in a pump spray and spray the exhaust and everything thats metal including the exhaust , dont get alot on the wheels if you do rinse off but let the rest sit on the parts for about 20 minutes , you can use a low grit steel wool ,wire brushes and a small dremel with a wire brush attachment for bolts to aggitate as much as you can . Rinse off with a water hose since its more flexible than a power washer rod . You do this while car is cold . Let it dry for about 6 hrs . Final step use a can oil spray lubricant about 2 cans of your choice and spray arms ,bolts ,gas tank but not the exhaust and your ride will remain looking good. I believe the bottom is as important as the rest of the car even though you dont see it . Bushings and all suspension parts you invest in will remain looking flawless. I do it once every year brother well worth the time, you will thank me later and everyone else reading this, cheers brother. Let me know about that unique piece you added to the front bottom of the rt. Mopar 4 life!!!!

The v6 sounds pretty decent for a v6. I've heard nastier and more annoying ones like a Honda Accord's v6. I personally prefer the sound of the v8 though. I've always loved v8s and Dodge makes my favorite v8s ever. My grandmother's 1973 Dodge Charger's 440 sounds supreme.

The Daytona needs all new suspension go to the suspension dude on Amazon and buy all the control alarms for the front then go to your local dodge dealer and by the lower control arm for the back $200 bushing $57 new trailing arm BMR $100 new upper control arms 200 bucks apiece at your local dodge dealer and your tow arm $200 The suspension dude has a whole kit for the front sway bar bushing swaybar links both lower control arms upper control arm tire rod for 300 bucks
