So reading forums this repair sounded daunting. I saw your video and followed it to a tee. Easy fix runs perfect and no more leaks! You're the man! Thank you

Nicely done. I know someday I'm going to need to do this and it's great to know the little tricks to make the job a little easier. Side note - the sound of the rain in the background was very soothing.

Thank you for sharing and explaining how to replace the oring with the VE pump still on the engine. Awesome!

I didn't see you actually change the o-ring. I believe the stop solenoid needs removed so the o-ring doesn't have to go over the top of it. A tapered cup from a 7 eleven or something can be slid over the end of the pump, so the o-ring rides up it more smoothly and cleanly than just up and over the end of the pump. A pipe cleaner can help clean the groove. And sometimes you can get a longer center bolt that you screw in as you back the head out, to keep the plunger pushed in so the little disc doesn't fall out. If something goes wrong and the disc drops you need to pull the end off and all the guts fall out,.. the rollers and stuff can be glued/stuck back into place with Vaseline until the head can be placed back on, but it aint easy. You can use vasoline to lube the new o-ring too, so it doesn't catch and get cut, which is easy to do.

The usual size for ve pumps is a viton material 60mm X 2.5mm o ring.
