Those were one of the first things I added to my 2015 Durango. My wife has short legs and thought it would make getting in and out of the vehicle easier for her. Besides, they look cool.

Steps on a crew cab with ONLY Front and Rear mounts will bend easily. I would strongly recommend ONLY those steps with at LEAST 3 and prefer 4 mounting brackets. When a step bends (even slightly) with ice or snow or mud, one is likely to slip OFF and get someone hurt. Not Good.

3 and 4 brackets would definitely be better, but I needed the steps for my kids and was on a budget. Thanks for your comment many viewers will see it and become better informed. By the way, I have had my rails on for about 3 years and have not had any signs of bending.

I had personal experience with the falling and causing injury. That is why I Added better support on one of my trucks and have insisted on a minimum of 3 supports on since.

It makes it much easier to get in the truck for sure. I had them off while I was painting underneath for about 2 weeks and I missed them every time I used the truck.
