We have a 2015 SXT with the DVD entertainment package. We got it used but unfortunately it does not have the sub. I am also into audio and I must say it sounds pretty decent. I believe they went with Infinity that model year.

The speakers in the GT (previously know as the R/T trim level, until some V8 guys complained about use of the badge) are actually made by Alpine (as is the amplifier). They use the same 6x9s and 3.5" in most of the "upgraded" speakers in other models (other than all SRTs).

I just uploaded a video from the tech at Firestone tire. She was impressed with the factory radio and the subs i installed. I don't think she knows about the factory radio is just that, factory. I love the 30 gig hard drive

i have a 2018 gt and the system seems horrible. The dash speakers overpower everything else while the front door speakers are faint at best. Any suggestions on how to rebalance this before I replace the speakers?

The sub is in the left-rear quarter panel (he shows it in the video). It is very under-powered by the amp, and has no gain control on it to adjust it. The cheapest upgrade you can do is to replace the sub in that box with a shallow 8" sub with better specs and a higher dB level.

The Subwoofer is located in the back of the van left side above the jack compartment. I think have an 8" woofer

@@KonaPine-tc8cn it could have better bigger subwoofer and amp. And you let the owners put better wattage 6 x 9 speakers in. I tried and for some reason they didn't play. But for and Infinity sound system not too bad. But the owners should be able to change things. But it's MOPAR. Food for Thought!

my parents has gc with gt 9 speaker and i have jorney with alpine i honestly say that alpine system tweater are over powered then subs not much bass coming from so base 6 or 4 speaker have more bass then alpines
