Watching the video on his channel and seeing some replies he posted right here to some comments, it would appear that's not the case. They were cheap rims, he knew what he was getting into in that regard, if he looks pissed or disappointed, it's probably more because of how the entire thing went down on a larger scale. I'm guessing he was expecting to just hang out with some dudes and let it rip, and while that is what he got to do to an extent, he also got to see how it's really set up like a production and they're shooting several episodes on one day, so the atmosphere was definitely a bit different than expected. Imagine how you'd feel if you do something that you've been looking forward to, and it's good, but not really what you expected. You would still be happy you did it and had fun, but you'd be a bit disappointed that it wasn't what you imagined.

Not even close, Taylor Ray's LS Miata won't spin the tires in 6th gear. His Miata makes like 350HP/Torque compared to this thing making 700HP/Torque at the wheels. I'm pretty sure they put the smaller pulley on the supercharger so they are easily pushing 700HP/Torque at the wheels.
