Don’t chop you feet. A good defender will just jam you like a good cornerback in football will jam a receiver. Every chop step is another moment you feet are not ready to plant and go. Unfortunately there is still bad coaching in lacrosse and many defenders don’t realize this .

Yeah for sure! Definitely depends on the scenario, as an X-Attack-man it’s a great way to set up the dodge and get your feet going and ready for the initial jab step. But if your a Midde setting up for a speed dodge definitely not the best option.
