The piece I found was to the band adjustment above the valve body

this exact issue just happened to me. When you took off the valve body, can you reach up and put the anchor back in place behind the band adjuster? and the front band?

Working on one now and discovered the little kickdown anchor thing fell out and was in the bottom of the pan. Trying to figure out where it goes and if the valve body has to be dropped to do it. Thanks!

If you’re referring to the clip that holds the linkage to the rooster comb,no,you don’t have to drop the valve body. Using a magnet and long flat head screw driver you can get it in place

@@SSMan-jo6tf it is the piece you show at the beginning that fell out (bottom right corner of the video that you pick up and talk about. That is a kickdown band anchor. Working underneath a vehicle to put this thing back looks like it's going to be a challenge. Thanks!

The ball was stuck on a bur,I just filed the bur off to free it up
