Dodge Ram SRT-10 Brake Rotor Replacement

In todays video we replace the Dodge Ram SRT-10 Brake rotors with new ones. The old rotors were rusted pitted and warped causing the brakes to shake. The brake rotor replacement is fairly straightforward but we also paint the center hub portion of the brake rotors with high temp paint to prevent rust. We also show the wrong brake pads for this truck and explain what we are replacing and why.

Great video again! Thanks for sharing and keeping us updated on your Mopar garage collection! I just did my brakes on my 04 RAM 1500 and it never fails to need that "BFH" to knock it loose. My 01 Dakota is coming up for a brake job as well, still got some meat on the pads but rotor looks like its getting worn so time to replace on the next repair. Good video never thought about adding the coating will try next time. Hopefully you'll do a video on replacing the upper and lower control arms. I got a quad cab srt 10 and these people are charging an arm and a leg for labor that'll help me out a bunch

The “speed clips” were used on the assembly line to keep the rotors on as it was moving until secured.

nice video mate. i have a 2006 srt10 and just got shipped the wrong brakes and rotor kits from summit i have the same setup on my truck as you any chance you know what i would need to replace mine on front and rear as there is not much help here in Australia
