Glad you are calling this scumbag out. Car sales are so slimy. It should be illegal to change the price depending on who the buyer is. It's the only business like this.
@mikecicero5917 сағат бұрын
Crap doesn't matter either way. Don't buy it for $111,000 OR $85,000. THE FLIPPING CAR ISN'T WORTH $45,000. We all need to stop buying everything that isn't a necessity until prices drop across the board for everything.

They need to fix all the quality issues, then bring out the V8 version, and offer a 6 speed manual with it. As for the salesman, he deservedly got his balls busted, very publicly! Good job! 😂

Good for you bro 👏👏 the car sales guys are terrible. I had to go to two dealerships just to get a fair price on a 2023 Challenger this summer. They were advertising it for one price on the Internet, and then trying to jack up the price by saying they added a whole bunch of crap that I never asked for. And then they sat there and tried to tell me all the dealerships do this and I said well I don’t want it and they said you have to take it as is. And I walked out. Went to a second dealership they tried the same thing and I let them know I was just down the block and I walked out of that dealership so if they wanna make a deal, they gotta do it the right way and they did. But they are scumbags for trying. I can’t believe how shady and nasty It’s gotten just to buy a car. It was never this bad. And it’s so blatant now. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm thinking the majority of people wanting to actually buy one of the EV Chargers have KZbin channels and plan to make lots of videos about it to recoup the money. Much like was done with Cybertruck that now clog lots with thousands unsold and sitting....the EV Charger will likely be the car that finally bankrupts Dodge.

I’m not sure if this is new or old new, I heard there building this “car” in such a way they can also drop a HEMI motor and drive train in it, so when when these cars don’t sell they can put a HEMI in it with little effort.

I’ve seen one of the charger evs earlier this year and it was broken down on the side of the road blocking traffic. Looks like it’s having some sort of electrical issue. Or the battery straight up died cause they were trying to hook it up to another car. Whoever buys these cars are going to get burnt by depreciation, if they are lucky they maybe able to get out of it through lemon laws

I'm amazed that Dodge doesn't seem to care that their dealership partners are encouraging people NOT to buy what is an otherwise beautiful car. Then the dealerships say "No one wants electric cars" and Dodge seems to listen to them instead of this real information of what's going on with electric vehicles. At the least, it will make someone like me who likes EVs just choose another brand altogether and tell others to avoid Dodge.
@sammyjammy664713 сағат бұрын
Does Dodge realize that there are Teslas in the marketplace? With far superior software. A model 3 performance with the recent project highland refresh is 54,000 that doesn’t include the tax credit of 7500 and it goes 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds. And with more range. Someone brainless just may pay 111,000 for an electric Dodge. And it is 1700 pounds lighter than the dodge

I don't care what they do. I don't care what people choose to pay for any vehicle. The deceptive practices on new and used cars is what bothers me. The ads that say one thing and when you get there it changes is a warning. It can be an honest mistake. It usually isn't. In the finance office is where the real markups and add ons come. That's fine to me. If people freely pay too much that's their ignorance or their choice. The dealer and the customer can call it a win or a loss. Ignorance can be bliss. The customer may feel it's worth it to them even if they know they paid too much. It would be a win for both. IF the customer discovers later the dealer overcharged them....they may feel angry and ashamed. They may not tell anyone out of shame and embarrassment. Or they may tell everyone. Is it worth it to the dealer to score big knowing they may never be able to sell another vehicle to them because they are buried in debt from buying any new car...but one they ADDED to the negative equity? Carmax is an example....I probably will buy my last car from them...and pay over book value. No hassle, no haggle, no games, up front price on the car, and Maxcare warranty to 150k odometer miles bumper to bumper that they honor makes it worth it to me. They sell to cash buyers and people who have bad credit...so they get 23% finance charge....the terms are on the window sticker. They KNOW exactly what they are getting and paying. That may bury those people too. IF they keep paying they can be under warranty hopefully until it's paid off. They may pay TWICE what the over retail price is...maybe FOUR times what wholesale on it is at time of purchase. If it serves their needs and they WANT it...who am I to say Carmax ripped them off? I would be paying cash...and be paying way over wholesale myself. There is SOOOO much that can break in new vehicles that costs a fortune to diagnose and fix that buying one wholesale without a reputable warranty from a reputable dealer I just couldn't justify the savings by doing so. My boss at the used car lot said there's a butt for every seat. He's right. I got SMART before I started working for him...I drove the Festiva, Justy, Prizm, Storm GSi, Avenger coupe, Tercel, Corsica, Cavaliers...all well worn. I had probably 35 cars in my life...9 new ones in 9 years. To this day I drive three old cars...two 2005 Accord Ex's...230k and 304k, and an 07 Camry with 335k. These three were $1600 for each Accord, $1000 for the Camry. All drive as new, look great, and have cold AC. So, I drove used cars and usually got out of them what I had in them...with tax and tags and sometimes even with what I spent on maintenance and minor repairs. The current cars are throw-away cars. If they last 1 year or 5 years I can't lose. The people driving new cars may have paid cash or may have them financed. They look great....they got their dream car. I haven't been willing to trade my bank account for a vehicle because I learned I can get my dream car 15 or 20 years later in great shape for cheap...and enjoy it....pre-scratched and dented. I keep them clean and take pride in them. I do get envious when I see one like mine in perfect condition. But I remember I don't have to stress over keeping mine mint...because it never was with me. I LOVE cars. Buying old cars that have wear and tear is a guilt-free pleasure. I can switch as often as I want to and not lose much money.
