The stock RE46 is not the best transmission. Drop a monster kit in it. I bought my dodge off a buddy cheap. The trans was rebuilt to stock. With towing and hauling heavy tools, construction and yard waste to the dump it took a toll. Threw a monster in and no problem. I pull a 6x12 tandem axel dump trailer all day long on my half ton.

This is awesome! Reminded me of my dad 62 powerwagon. He took the seat belts out since it was a cut off year. Blew a hole thru the side of the bed twice sighting in his rifle. He was getting too many volts so he hooked up a blinker inline to the alternator so the headlights would end up getting bright then dim then bright then dim... The wiper motor broke so he tied a short rope to both ends of a broomstick sideways across the dash. The ropes went out the bat wing windows (kids know what those are?) To the wipers to manually make them wipe. Good times. Love that truck.

Christmas Eve was a bad day for me. I was driving a farm road to get to my brother's for dinner and got blinded from an oncoming driver with brights and mis aligned headlights. I didnt realize the road was flodded pretty good from the rain and plowed through it. Tore the CAT back o2 sensor wires from the sensor and blew a fuse. She got me back home though, limping all the way back. I drive a 99 ram 1500 and i couldn't dodge the puddle so i rammed it.

This is very true, my dad and I got an 87 Dodge Le150, we havent started working on it, so its kinda junky right now. Tonight we moved it and brought it to the gas station next to our house, in that time the battery died 7 times, some trim fell off, and we had my dad's 2007 Dodge 1500 come and jump the 87.
