have to mine, broke both front bottom bolts off, & this video now shows that the bolts iam missing come on the new shocks already🙂....or @ least i hope so🤣
@Bmanfresh2 жыл бұрын
Depends which two bolts your missing. If they are the 10mm ones. They do not come with the new shocks. If the ones on the top of the shaft mostlikely those will be with the new ones

For us up in the rust belt, just grab the appropriate socket on the top bolt with a 6 inch extension and just wiggle it back n forth till it snaps and done
@michaelmurphyjr.537123 күн бұрын
But what if that too little bolt of the shock gets stripped cuz you thought it was loose?

And that's why I'm happy I have the air suspension on my Ram.. only had to swtich out the rear shocks because the front are air shocks that are not meant to be replaced..

Of course it's a 10mm socket. I don't have one of those.

The poly bushings will squeak, When I replace mine a few years ago I ended up adding some grease fittings and now I shoot green slime marine grease in poly bushings to keep them from squeaking.

At first I thought these trucks were going to be hard to work on but these trucks are rather easy to work on it's just finding parts if you can't find the parts what do you do so now I'm in the process of frankensteining
