Yamamoto looks really good. He might become an elite pitcher. Two innings bases loaded, most guys would sweat in this situation but Yamamoto calmly strikes the next guys out to save the innings twice!
Everyone talking about Yamamoto and rightfully so but Wicks holding that Dodgers lineup scoreless is no small feat either. He was fantastic.

First two times bases load the pitch was low and called a strikeout on Swanson, and another high pitch strikeout was called, been a different game. Could have gone either way and pressure on Yomamoto.

Yamamoto will be sub 3 era in no time. Its not hard to spot his ability, when you have that kind of curve ball on demand and laser accuracy on a moving fastball its lights out. Some teams will catch on mid season, but he's a solid 10-12 game Winner 3-sub 3 era with his current tools.

But, no one did what I thought was the obvious thing: Offer the Manager's job to Ichiro. Who wouldnt like to play for Ichiro and with Ohtani? Lost opportunity.
