Ohtani MVP 100%. it was one of the best seasons ever. but Lindor did have a special year for a special team that is having a historic run in playoffs. Ohtani should be unanimous MVP but Lindor solidified his HOF career with this season so if not for Ohtani he would be MVP. very similar to bobby witt jr, if not for judge hes got MVP easy

Teo and Soto are on different levels, teo is a perfect fit for dodgers we already have our superstars we literally can’t afford Soto, Soto is not gonna be a dodger next season period. With the money they would use on him aka 1 player the dodgers can get Sooo many other impact players to make them better instead of another superstar taking up the salary cap

Who cares if he’s on the IL for an extended period of time. With Sasaki and just one bargain durable lefty and Dodgers hopefully set for 2025: 1. Glasnow 2. Flaherty 3. Yamamoto 4. Stone 5. Sask. 6. Ohtani 7. Bueller 8. Miller 9. Kershaw 10. Sheehan 11. Knack 12. Gonsolin 13. Dustin May 14. Kyle Hurt Dodgers obviously need to have Glasnow at a much lower pace and need to move some starters to relievers during certain points.

If Roki Sasaki decides to come over next year, he'll be a Dodgers for sure. If he decides to stay until he's 25, then he's going to the highest bidder. If you watch the WBC, you can clearly see the respect these guys have for Shohei. Shohei was their captain, and i think he'll come over if Ohtani recruits him

given the current posting system, the japanese team (npb) would be getting almost nothing in return for roki as long as he’s under 25. the owners of npb teams are corporations and they have a fiduciary duty to shareholders. i.e. basically, the new posting system is designed so that star players under 25 cannot be posted. keep in mind when ohtani signed, the team that was posting him was able to get the full $20m from the angels under the old posting system (i.e. grandfathered).

Every year I think the Dodgers have too many starting pitchers but they end up without enough. 7 starters on the IL right now! Glasnow, Kershaw, Stone could be a good 1-2-3 for the playoffs and they are all on the IL. Flaherty, Yamamoto, Buehler, Knack can still get it done though.

I am a Japanese how has been watching Roki Sasaki & Lotte Marins and I have to say Roki Sasaki degraded for the last couple of years. He is not the pitcher we have seen when he did perfect game and WBC unfortunately. I doubt he could do well in MLB in the future?
