The power of the internet. Saw Michael's name, had no idea who he was but took a chance he might have been related to one of my best friends at Glyn School, Epsom, 1975-1980, Martin Emmett. [Note I'm also a Martin]. I'd heard a rumour Martin died in Spain a few years after leaving school, sadly I now know that to be true, he was Michael's brother. Thanks to both of you for a fascinating interview.

I dont think iv seen a podcast you have done yet i haven't really enjoyed, i even show my kids certain ones to help educate them , every interview is different and what i like the most Dodge is when you know to rain the guest back or let them go into detail , my favourite interviewer and the guests all educate us , ... Michael seems like such a honest ,nice person ...again i genuinely believe we see the best of the guests because of the way you make them feel comfortable , thank you very much at a person struggling with serious health issues these videos play a big part of my down time 👍👏👏👏

Loved the fact that his old man ran around Fulham..... most people have this opinion that Fulham was not a working class area....... it had some rough houses in the 50'/60's and 70's....... he mentioned John Bindon, he was an actor come bag man for the Krays and who was attacked in the famous Putney Yacht Club by South London gangsters and he survived and ended up finishing off the attacker. He used to come into our pub, and we always left quickly afterwards as you knew he had come to sort someone out....

This podcast is going to change my life, I’ve been in prison myself when I was younger I’ve been an addict for most my adult life mainly gambling but with that comes me drinking an sniffing. When I was away I used to go the chaplain just for an excuse to get out my pad, but I did really want to get summit from it but I was scared of letting myself go an taking faith. This has opened my eyes more than Anythin I’ve ever heard or listens to. And then last couple minutes describing what an addict is you could of easily just said my name because that’s who I am I’m not a bad person I have a massive hearth and deep down I no am good stick but really this will change my life. Also at the end you said ur nothing special trust me you are and thank you 👌💙

What an amazing interview, just recently found and subscribed to the channel Dodge, another West Ham fan here mate and it was the Carlton interview that the algorithm popped up on my timeline so it does work occasionally mate lol. What a life Michael has had and is so eloquent and articulate when speaking, it so heartwarming to see people who have come through their own demonic tunnels so to speak, it seems that when their journeys are over not only do they find their lives richer but they suddenly find a buzz in enriching the lives of others. Congratulations on getting there Michael, it’s probably the hardest road to travel going and doing things straight but it’s also the most rewarding and fulfilling road on the map, next time you’re lying in bed mate I hope you reflect on your journey and your current location with immense pride. 👍⚒️⚒️ (If he’s football fan I bet he’s not fond of West Ham 😂😂)
