I like the way you play the game. And yes, power is definitely key. It might seem like crafting solar panels slows down initial progress, but in the long run, you'll have much better performance. In my experience, the east side of the map tends to yield significantly better loot. However, it may require consistent exploration over a few days (typically 2-3) to reap the rewards. Typical run: North of Dry mountain, then Happy Hill for Lithium, Valley of Death for a possible LC, Arch/Pillars for a second LC, plains for scrap and general loot, central pond for a third possible LC, Oretastic for silicon and back at base...

Hey Matthew! Thank you - its great being back in the game - really enjoying it. Yes I definately want to do some further exploring out that way, open up the map and have a good scout for some LC's. Hopefully find that last cotton seed I need before winter!
