This album is an absolute piece of art. Uncompromisingly vulnerable and personal, which is not how I would describe most Black Metal. And as original as only DHG can be. I think this will be a gateway album for prog heads all over.

Thanks for doing this man! It's the album of the year for me. It's a very diverse album too so not every song is exactly like this. Vicotnik (vocals/guitars) has written everything since Satanic Art (1998). They've taken eight years between their last four albums actually haha. They don't just pump out product. My favorite of theirs is probably 666 International - which is more of an industrial/black metal hybrid that feels like a David Lynch movie. Fenriz was only on the first album.

Dødheimsgard is one of the most inspirational bands of all avantgarde and industrial blackmetal scene. Good stuff, satanic art and 666 great stuff too, but a umbra omega, from another dimension, recommended bro, the complete discography and the evolution of their music. Cheers!
