The More I dig into this Album , the more fascinated I become. I‘m studying music theory right now, and there are so MANY interesting aspects in this album, I don’t even know where to start. Brilliant!

Mind Blowing to another dimension of the mind and spirit. Im from Chile and i discovered this album same year it was released. Pure coincidence. An album that will be achieved in my heart for life, as a Masterpiece. Every sound functions so perfect with each other at every moment...And lyrics interpretation by Aldrahan are just so deep, even with divine greatness (have you ever seen him body interpretating while he is singing ''A umbra omega'' songs???I utterly recommend you to do that ). This Lyrics are so deep. I interpretated far now a spiritual journey of leaving your normal experience of been a human to something Superior. And Superior it is just whats this album is too in musical composition and creation. In that i see too, the logical perfection of its assembly. Two and a Half years later...Still every song have my full atention. Musical and Spiritual attention. fucking divine.

paul smith This is Dodheimsgard, pure and simple. Well, technically, it's as much Ved Buens Ende as it is DHG, but since Parvez is the composer on both bands, same diference.

A masterpiece within the masterpiece album...touching many different musical genre, and even musical theater; almost a metal circus...When talent, technical skills (fretless bass, here, really ? so beautiful from 6:22 to the end, btw, quotation of a song from Ulcerate band ???), imagination & more than a bit of madness (yes, the singing, but not only) & irresistible underground melodies are on command, here's the result...

It's lovely how people call this music a black metal, because it's really not representative. This peace of music is far from typical BM bands. If you play this song to a friend who never heard of BM, she will get the wrong impression about the genre. So, people who praise this album as BM masterpiece are actually overestimating BM. This album is more like melodical avantgarde with BM incrustation. And for me this album is better and more mature than many seemingly related pieces. Often so-called progressive/avantagrde BM is too industrial or too post-rockish or too jazzy or too mainstream. Heck, even Enslaved seems mainstream pop compared to this. Enslaved is harsh but straightforward, whereas new Dodheimsgard is mostly soft but creative. Really this is rather soft music, not tearing your ears like extreme-emo-screamo--metal bands. Clair Cassis just came to mind - an example of how soft BM can flow. But Clair Cassis is minimalistic whereas Dodheimsgard is implementing many mainstream things like synths with simple melodies which could make them sound mainstream. But they dont! They sound weird in a good way

The sound is simply amazing. Next to the new poorly mixed Arcturus we are getting in 2015, DHG is simple brilliant.
