So... I have I theory So Dodie and Jon have done a couple of songs and tours and stuff together. In Dodie's video 'pasta is good life is sad' she talks about how she recently broke up with someone because they wanted to take it causally. She didn't give any names. What if it was Jon Cozart? Furthermore, what if they started writing this song as a duet while they were together then changed the lyrics. Just an idea. If anyone has something to confirm or deny it that would be great.

my theory is that they both went through a similar bad relationship experience and had some late night discussion about it and were sharing lyrics and thoughts and decided that they should write songs that were mashable so that they could sing it on tour.
