i love that this seems to borrow a bit from each ratatat album, like how dragon roost sounds very much like classics, sand ship sounds a bit more like LP3/LP4, and there's sprinklings of their debut album and magnifique all throughout. this feels like getting a new ratatat project which makes me very happy, especially with e.vax's solo album coming out soon!

Their self-titled album (Ratatat) is a pretty good start -- chill and full of bangers. If you want something harder, Classics is another great album, all bangers too. I rarely download full albums but these two are just so solid through-and-through. Such a unique version of electronic, this band has easily become my favorite. ✊

I have been a huge ratatat fan for almost half my life. The Classics is still to this day my second favorite album of all time.
