You should use the small precision bottles with the thinner tip. Also, start your gluing from the back of the cap. I use 80lb cardstock. Other than that you did good.

I am new to paper crafting well i used to scrapbook when my kids were little but last time i did it was over 12 yrs ago so ya im sayin im new lol but girllll lol i will say this u picked a hard craft to do for ur 1st paper craft project..i was like omg tht is too cute but let me see how easy it is to put together...i seen all those mats and i was like holy crap lol but you did good thanks for showing us the real stuff I love tht..just a hint on the glue when im put glue on and put it together i take my squeegee and go across the paper and go back and forth up and down several times tht will help spread out the glue so u wont get the warp or glue marks..you should go check out cardstock paper purse bag omg girl those are some gorgeous bags the honestly look so real i just made 6 with 3 different styles several ppl thought they were real lol i watched maymay shes got some awesome instructions but im telling tht is a great starter for ya go check it out and when or if you do post it cuz i wanna see what you made..dont let this baseball cap give you a bad taste for paper crafting im am hooked after doin a gift box then i did a gift bag purse and omg i am addicted lol..good luck and dont give up on paper crafting it is lots of fun and cool how u can make something from a simple piece of paper into something beautiful..thank you for sharing this i love it!! Great job!! I would love to make a few for my granddaughters T-ball team but I'd need like 10 uhhh nooe not happening lol to much for so many at least for me lol super cute tho thts for sure..im sorry for such a long comment..

Art glitter glue or reptile glue would be the best for this project. It dries clear. It’s as strong or stronger than hot glue but gives you a little time to adjust.

This video had me weak! You had me at "This is Not for the weak!" We crafters make it look easy cause we do a lot of paper crafts and it just gets easier. Gotta love what ya do. Advise, dont use the heat gun and you are using too much glue.... But you finished it. Go gurl!

I think you did great for your first paper project! Because I'm impatient , I would have used double sided tape instead of glue. Less messy. I think if you try it again it will be easier. Thanks for sharing!

Great job fit your first project. You can use Beacon 3 in 1 glue it makes your cardstock sturdy and is not water based so your paper won't buckle like that. And yes you did use too much glue but you Did It!!!!!

Yes your right. Try art glitter glue or something similar to that. It's for projects like this but yes these are a beast but you got it. You can even use a squeegee to go across the area to smoothe the glue out under on the flat parts.

@@DoDreamOn no ma'am well i have on other paper crafts but for these because of the tabs I def wouldn't recommend. Maybe double sided tape but it depends on which one you get but art glitter glue is always my go to for paper craft because it don't warp the paper. I have a friend who sells glue also that is similar and it does great for paper craft also. They all dry clear which is good for color paper. Double sided tape for the bottom flat pieces is good to use especially if trying out because it can be hard trying to position it with glue on it.

@@DoDreamOn I used the Beacon Foam and Poster Board Adhesive glue from the Dollar Tree. If you are going to stick with paper crafting you will definitely need a bottle with fine tip applicator. Instead of investing in 110 lb cardstock I stack the 65 lb cardstock or use poster board from any craft store or Dollar Tree
