Hey Dod, great video! Not sure if you've done a video like this before, but I think a good video idea would be to do a 'Tips and Tricks' video that is specifically for new or newer players. Feauturing a bunch of different small but very helpful tips that covers the whole game like the igniting of the firestarter without shooting it, for example. Then if we have any friends that are picking up the game for the first time in a while or ever, we can share that with them. You have a great way of explaining situations or contexts and i know a lot of people prefer your 'to the point' attitude when it comes to learning new information. Keep up the great content as always mate!

Lmao, bro, I use eclipse a lot, out of all the builds about 50% of the time, over the last 150 days of game play I didn't know about the double press button. Cheers mate.

I've been rocking sweet dreams because of your video very useful when a purple doesn't die to fire all you have to do is melee him and it spreads more of the fire

Purples should easily die. BUt yeah, sweet dreams defintely speeds up the process

I run Eclipse 80% of the game. My clan loves it because it makes their DPS work easier to do. I run it solo and take Heroic CPs, Bounties, etc. YES, sometimes I have to run like a lunatic to save my ass while my skills recover but I need the exercise anyway.

I hate the Firestarter Chem cause after using it sometimes I want/need to switch to the weapon but it stay with the Chem launcher & even try it a second time but still stay & won't switch to a weapon. I prefer to run sticky burn & firefly or airburst.

I agree, Chem is clunky to use. I use Airburst, I have not tried the Firefly

Stupid bug in the game, you try and swap back to a weapon, but it just cycles through the skill over and over. Getting out of cover then swapping always works for me.

I think default is just double tap for insta use of sticky, which I do prefer to learning another button...

Weirdly, and was probably bugging out as I had a lot of issues with spec weapons today, the flamethrower burn status wasn’t transferring on death to other enemies this afternoon (gave your suggestion from previous vid a go to burn through GB). 4 piece EP, Vile, full yellow Golan holster, Scorpio, pyromaniac, chem, burn sticky. Fave build by far I tried switching builds to use the missile launcher and it refused to lock on and fire.

On console it’s insta use by default, you have to hold to aim, I thought my status build shredded, eclipse with perfect trauma and perfect creeping death, guess it’s back to the drawing board for me, maybe a chayote mask and a perfect glass cannon chest?

The fire chrm feels clunky to double tap the bumper button on ps. After a few goes it just feels terrible and sometimes you got your gun in your hand after double tapping bumper button and sometimes you do. These days I use and old gold status build. When eclipse came outvi used it for a good while and loved it but I think I over used eclipse and got board of useng it. An all gold build status build with crepping death will do double the damage of say one fire sticky

Skill Damage VS Status.... what would the mix be?... I feel like my Status build DOES NOT do what I've seen other peoples builds do. It even feels like other players Oxidizers are OP compared to my Fire. Gonna search to see if I can find some info and update my post (if I feel like it), or maybe I'll just get sucked into the KZbin rabbit hole

I honestly would not mix. Status all the way. Arguably, the onl Skill damage roll you shoul dhave is on the High End pieces. Oxi is also not a Status, no sure if you were implying that.

Yeah you can double tap most skills on console as well. And creeping death on an eclipse fire build will hurt you. The talent can override the GS.

Does expertise do anything for the chem launcher? Or is it minimal damage and a waste of resources?

Depends on the type of Chem. Oxi is an increase in damage. Fire Chem is increase in Ignition damage. Foam is increase in Health. I find them uselful, you may not.
