You should setup a decibel meter and try and find the point of diminishing return of suppressor length vs decibel volume, because eventually it's so long that it's completely trapping most of the gas, I'd be interested the see the results because I think only you guys could do it with that amount of suppressor baffles haha

You'd have to factor in the effects of the 'projectile' breaking, or not breaking, Mach-1. Just where would you measure the decibels? At the shooters position? At the muzzle, At the target? Where? Just asking.

@bikerfirefarter7280 As long as you keep the variable of distance constant then it won't matter, can still collect data just fine, whether it's 5 inches away or 5 feet away, also why are you worried about velocity, most ammo is supersonic and suppressors are known to actually INCREASE velocity, not lose it

@@bikerfirefarter7280 just find the standard distance away that decibel tests are supposed to be from the source of the sound and do it that far from the end of the barrel for all the shots, decibels drop off exponentially so there's typically a certain distance away tests are done and cheap meters will usually have their own standard distance which may be a bit different but will still give you a general idea

I think it might have gone better if you had some sort of support system across the entire barrel or basically laid it flat against a table throughout use. No bending at all! Best way to try it out and discourage baffle strikes. Also not saying anything you haven't thought about or been told already, the bit with the full-auto was a BIT too close in terms of being dangerous. The shield was a good investment though. x)

I might start repeatedly submitting this video suggestion. I just watched the P90 bull pup vid and the most satisfying part was when you all lined up and mag dumped. The full auto P90 made it that much more intense. Reminded me of suicide squad, the scene with the never ending hoard of zombies being mowed down. As an ambitious (and expensive) project, it would be amazing to have all kinds of moving reactive targets throughout the range and hitting as many as you could in quick succession, like you were facing off with some kind of mass invasion. Using a shotgun suppressor makes a lot of sense. They use rails to hold the shot cup together until it exits, so you naturally wouldn't get any baffle strikes since the entire thing is designed around preventing them.
