You are absolutely correct. Time is the biggest factor in doing these projects. With all the unfinished projects I have purchased. My best advice is. If you don't have time and space. Save your money and buy the best car you can. In the long run you will be money ahead. Before you purchases you project. See if parts are readily available. Their is nothing worse then finding out that parts are nonaccent.

Heck yeah Wayne, the caddy i restored had no availability for body parts or patch panels. I had to make everything by hand.. a blessing in the end. I learned a ton! But for most people this is perfact advice. So many "shows" make it look easy and that's what starts all the trouble. Make it run, drive and stop. Tinker with one thing at a time after that. Cheers buddy. Good hearing from ya!

Your personal project can be restarted. Just remember to write down ideas to help speed up that restart.

I found keeping a constantly-changing checklist of what I need to do, in what order. Otherwise, I never knew what to do at any time. I used Keep Notes. I'll be using it again in the winter when I tear apart the bike again. The wife, I ignore because she doesn't exist 😉

She's got no right to be mad. She was the one that put the nix on your idea to store the parts in the living room ! If she had just been a team player then you would of had space to work out in the garage.
