Does A30M Program Keys? Is this bidirectional XTOOL Scanner a Car Key Programmer Tool?

Does A30M program keys? I test this on a 2017 Honda Accord to answer the question is this bidirectional XTOOL scanner a car key programming tool as well? Seeing the key programming menu raised my hope that this scanner could be a car key programmer tool.

The AP200 is all anyone needs to program keys and its less than half the price at $45. The A30M is best for bidirectional testing. Great video as usual.

ap200 does not work for vw and benz cars key programming as well, tested

@facutinmoldova Benz, VW, BMW etc sport advanced immobilizers and require, proper key programmers and not just scanners.

Nice video. I think the key programming feature is the major difference (asides the absence of screen on the A30M) between the A30M and the D7 scan tools.

Yea. The D7 has around 36 special functions now, while the A30M has 21. A cracking piece of kit! Another difference is that the D7 gets more updates and understandably so, since there's an annual update cost after subscription expires.

Hi, key programing is a "big" spécial fonction and for the price of the A30M it's sure it's not available. So i think is an Xtool error to display the function in imobiliser ecu. I note that A30M had no diagnosis update since several month....after share with Xtool i understand that Anyscan is not yet ready...have you any information on your side ?

Totally agree that key programming is quite a big one to add to such a tool. The page is definitely an error. I haven't had it for long, but I'm monitoring for when I would see an update as well.

The AP200 from Autel is under $50 and comes with key programming capabilities.

I wonder if you can adjust the number of times your turn signal flashes when using the soft touch signal when changing lanes. Most are set at three flashes and I would like mine at five

The hardware of the a30m and d8 bt is same only difference is the software if anyone can hack the software to make it work it will work i tried to use vw immo on the a30m and it worked by tricking the software i used rooted phone and from the files inside i took the audi immo file from d8 bt and but it inside vw diagnosis file in a30m and i worked like a charm so we need an android hacker to figure out a way to add immobilizer menu to the a30m

I'm on the fence between this and the xtool ip616. Just want a few reset features, all system scan on a modern 2020+ car, no bi-directional needed yet.
