In the old days LSD riding was done at the start of the season before the interval training started. LSD = long slow distance.

Is accurate to refer to the glycolytic rate as to the anaerobic capacity? In my understanding the anaerobic capacity is equal to the buffering capacity and it is the absolute amount of energy I can produce above my FTP. So is it not more accurate to call the glycolytic rate the "anaerobic bandwith"?

Good question! Because the glycolytic rate is a measurement of glucose conversion, better to leave it as-is than associate it to a zone or system and possibly leave room for misinterpretation. Cheers!
