Based on what? The guy who couldn't complete a pass for 3 quarters, the guy who got shut out coming off a bye week, the guy who couldn't score to save his life with the playoffs on the line I mean I guess he did good against the Chargers who clearly quit on their coach n our defense got like 4 or more turnovers or against Denver who was playing for draft position while we were playing for AP job AOC hasn't done shit I hope he improves but looks like a career back-up if we want to maybe have a playoff chance Minshew is the better play this season

Exactly. Using the round he was drafted in is a little lazy. Plenty of first round QB's who have just as many playoff wins as Aiden.

Scott, I think that they will play in preseason actually. They are in a full on QB battle. They will have to prove themselves and game situations, they will probably alternate who starts the three games. I put my money on Aiden starting the first one Garner starting the second one and then whoever is leading, the competition will start the third one.

Yes, everything you said about Quarterbacks was correct, but you're still missing the big picture. QBs chosen outside the first round who have won a Superbowl - it's slim... but... QBs chosen INSIDE the first round who have won a Superbowl - it's ALSO slim! You cannot discount that Brady was taken in the 6th in this discussion - no, it doesn't happen every 10 years, but a QB taken in any other round winning 7 Super Bowls, has never happened. Every Super Bowl winning QB is an anomaly, a one-off, and they should not be pigeon-holed into "round this" or "round that". The round a QB is selected in is almost totally irrelevant - you have as much chance of finding "the guy" in round 6 as round 1... you just have to identify the intangibles and get really lucky. The only reason that more R1 QBs achieve success in comparison to the other rounds, is that far more of them go in R1 than in any of the other rounds... so consequently, far more R1 QBs fail to win a Super Bowl, than QBs taken in any other round. Also, yes, the chances that a QB taken in round 4 becomes a franchise QB aren't great... but then the chances of taking a QB in the top 10 and having them become a franchise QB are ALSO not great - there is no magic wand in drafting a QB early, the only certainty is that the cost of missing will be far higher.
