Of COURSE she uses those blasted sandals like cymbals and bops them together! She's a wild and free girl with summertime calling to those newly walking feet. They need to breathe and feel the air, water, sand and grass. A lifetime of footwear will come soon enough...but now...the wild awaits!😃

I think the problem is the shoes are tight and it itches her skin. So try buying a looser version of the same shoe, it worked for my kid.

Try sock shoes first. I think she does not like the extra weight and the struggle to wear them. Sock shoes are soft and she might like it.
