I hit the ball way farther than most single handicappers at our club, and I play a 20. Also there is a guy with hcp always between 4 and 4.5 who can't drive a ball longer than 220, even if his life depended on it. But his wedges and putting are basically like a robot. Precision is key, distance is to show off.

Does distance matter? Long enough off the tee is all that matters. A "pretty skirt" now and then, is the only thing that really matters. A guys just gotta keep his "priorities" in order in life. Stay "focused" on that which really matters. Pay "attention" to what's really important in life. Not allow himself to be "distracted" by "distance controversies." Keep a healthy "perspective" on what's really important in life. Always being prepared to "zero in on the best" that life in the big city, has to offer. And always be prepared to "go for it," whenever a "golden opportunity" presents itself.
