Everybody thinks that they can take Chucky. The thing is he's supernatural. He has the strengh of a regular guy is a doll body. He's fast, agile and has a high pain toleraance. Everytime the curse is reset or his body is rebuild he only starts feeling pain after some hours and can only be killed by destroying his heart.

A few Horror Nerd points to bring up: -Freddy Krueger gets his powers from Dream Demons. And his upbringing made him into the psycho he is. -Chucky has his inhuman strength due to voodoo magic. Also, why when possessing people with inactive limbs, those limbs then work again under his control. Cause voodoo magic. -IT has many names besides "Pennywise" and is technically a trans-dimensional god of death. Whom, is hinted to not have been defeated by the losers' club in other books. -Jack Torrence is technically POSSESSED by the Overlook Hotel. Which was activated by Danny's "Shining". -And if you want a deeper delve into Hannibal, you should check out the TV Series. Maybe next time you want to bring up Horror, go get CZ from CZ'sWorld KZbin channel.

4:40 - Funny thing about Paulina's take on the Carrie Prom Scene: that's actually closer to how it went in the book than the 1976 film adaptation was! In the book, Carrie runs out of the prom in a blind panic after getting the pigs' blood dumped on her and the students laughing at her, returning to the gym later on (after some things I'm not going to spoil here happen), which is where the now-iconic telekinetic rampage ACTUALLY begins.
@sierragreene9366

Yes to this! And the “Here’s Johnny!” Is only Stanley Kubrick’s thing, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the book Stephen King wrote either! It gripes me how all of the most famous scenes in that movie don’t happen in the book, and the whole thing messed up SK’s beautiful story. I’m so glad that Mike Flannigan was able to give it some redemption in Doctor Sleep. Books are so much better.

2:17 This is why Alfred Hitchcock decided to film this scene the way he did. If there's one place in a house where you're completely and utterly helpless, it's the bathroom. Both versions of The Shining movie were excellent! The original and again the newer mini series. Even the book and movie Doctor Sleep, which is a continuation of the story following Danny Torrance as an adult, were awesome. If you haven't guessed, I'm a huge Stephen King fan. I have almost all of his books and movies.

As a kid I would read all his books, but never really watched his movies until my early teens. Cujo, Christine, Pet Sematary, Carrie, The Dark Tower series, The Stand, Tommyknockers, It. I read pretty much all of them until the late 90’s when his material started focusing more on mystery and thriller genres instead of plain horror.

Couldn’t watch a horror movie with any of them. They would ruin the movie with stupid jokes. Jackson was the only one who seemed to know the movies.

I think Gen Z and even younger millennials have a difficult time understanding the older movies because they don't know how to put themselves back in those times. Like Psycho was "scary" because it was scary for the time. Same thing for the Creature from the Black Lagoon. It was scary for the time.

Yeah, I don't these younger ones understand the impact these horror movies have truly had. Which is a shame.

I still remember when Anthony Hopkins won his Academy Award. He was alter doing interviews for the press and someone asked him "what would Hannibal Lecter say about all of this. Hopkins went right into character and told them "I would like to have all of you over for dinner!!!!" LMFAO
