Having lived in poverty for 4 years. Nearly losing our home, negative in the bank, cars having trouble. And sleepless nights and couldn’t work because of stress.. Our first mistake was that we didn’t go to church and tithe. We never gave and only worried about ourselves. We never served. Here we are 12 years later, debt free except house, tithing, Giving and serving we have more than enough. And still prospering. If I could give one advice that is to tithe and serve with no motives. It’s how you will prosper.

Jesus had more than enough!!! At birth he was giving gold and silver...but his purpose was to go to the cross....not to accumulate wealth while he was here...there is nothing wrong with being prosperous. God is not against prosperity. Poverty does not equal Holiness!!! Jesus was God in flesh...he didn't need Money!!! The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. yes,Adam and Eve had no cloths and no food to eat as soon as they sinned because the earth became cursed...So,they got cloths from God (made out of the skin of the lam) and start eating wild animals, I assume, before becoming farmers...they had to start working daily and remembering God only in the harvest day to show Him gratitude for not abandoning them in their hardship...

When God reverses thoughts of oppression, failure, insecurity, self-depreciation, and a life destined to scraping by with low-paying jobs or welfare cheques; THEN prosperity begins. The prosperity that comes from God does not produce the love of money, but just the sense of knowing one can, in God's power, do things beyond the limits that were previously set. This does not mean taking on work that consumes you, stealing time spent serving God. It is a God-given ability to do great things to His glory. Money is just one of the benefits. God will remain first in your life, which will turn you into a joyful giver. You will joyfully give to the needy and to further God's work here on earth. Anything else cannot be of God.

However... there is another side to this, which few people talk about, because it simply will not make a preacher popular. And it's the unpopular teachings that we need, to counter the lusts of the flesh! Yes, God wants to prosper us, as our soul prospers. But why does He want to prosper us so? So we can gather into bank accounts, and live in gated communities? We are to work with our own hands, so that we can have enough to GIVE. We are to take on the mind of Christ, and learn to think like Jesus thought. Christ made Himself poor, that others might be made rich. One who truly loves his brother, and who does to others as he wishes others would do to him, will try to enrich others. And this is exactly what Paul said is the Christian normal. 2 Cor. 8:13-15 "For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be EQUALITY: As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack." And this is supposed to work completely opposite of socialism. Socialism says, "I will find politicians who will MAKE you give me enough, to enforce equality!" But Christ says, "I want to help those who have less than I do. I will give them enough to make them equal to me."

Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealthy. Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” It's not likely that people who're wealthy (before they're Christians) will follow The Lord in an extreme way, nor will they give up their security and possessions(to people who're in great need) for the Lord's cause. His possessions owned him and the way he thought. But if The Lord knows you aren't one of those people and makes you wealthy then NO ONE should question it.

My wife who passed away In June 2015 said God told her we would be well off one day, and I really have doubts about it. Two and a half years later, it never happened. These spirits of delay, lack, doubt, poverty, seem to have the upper hand ofcourse. I've had very temporary jobs and been living off SSI since 2015. Before that, I usually never had an income. So maybe he meant I'd be well off in retrospect to before. Maybe he just can't trust me with more money.

Money has its applications, and sure, we're to use our faculties that God has given us to his glory and to help ourselves and those in need, but Jesus also said that it's harder for a rich man to enter heaven than it is for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. but lay up your treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy and no thieves break in to steal. -Matthew 20:6 Money isn't bad, but the love of it is. If we got money we should give to those in greater need than ourselves, always. World relief, Salvation Army, and many other great organizations/charities were started by Christians who believed in helping the poor and destitute. So if we're rich we better not act like most rich; we better be making use our resources that the Lord's provided us with.

I am sad because I see rich throw away. I am richer than most on welfate,but get by poverty mentality generational & all gifts talents given & so much behind in different debt ,not credit cards,just other things not going 2 mention. I been needing this & find it this night @ 12:47am middle night. I wish I would have the anointing Supernatural feel insight STRONG voice of Ruach everyday. I need 2 Use prayer language & God's Voice. I just knew this how he is explaining it. Everything about this channel is business, its more like an advertising channel to me than selling the kingdom of God, always sending email about donation asking money, money....selling selling.... I dont have problem with money but remember : 1Timothy 6:10 .SID ROTH Brother please seek the kindgdom of God first . Because a man can be poor yet be a candidate of heaven . +Steffan Jansen van Vuuren "Treasures on earth" really should be translated "treasures OF earth" as in "be in the world not OF the world" the goal is not to get money money is a tool the goal is to help people get to there heaven dad and money CAN be useful but the goal is not to get rich. :)

+Joshua Combes When you have one scripture/verse that seems to go against many other scriptures/verses which says the exact opposite thing, it normally means that it is misunderstood or connected to a different context. A context normally found in the previous verses or following verses... Just the fact that we aught to pray "Let your Kingdom come" here on earth means no poverty... Jesus came to teach us the Kingdom of God and how things work/operate in His Kingdom. So from Jesus teachings we learn that there are two ways of obtaining wealth... The worlds way or Gods way, and we get to choose... The world's way is always a gamble, never for certain, subject to inflation and recession etc. Where as Gods way is guaranteed and works every time and is independent of whatever is going on around you or in the world. In verse 24 we see Jesus explaining it: 24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord]. So we have to ask, who am I devoted to , God or Mammon. We also see here(1 Timothy 6:10) that the love of money is what we should steer away from and the Love for God should replace it: 1 Timothy 6:10(AMP) For the love of money [that is, the greedy desire for it and the willingness to gain it unethically] is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves [through and through] with many sorrows. Here is a promise from Jesus, that is guaranteed. It is also Gods approved way for us to gain wealth: Matthew 6:31-33(AMP) 31 Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ 32 For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness; [His way of doing and being right-the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. Amen Yes folks the good news (Gospel) of our Lord Jesus and His teaching about His Kingdom, the Kingdom of God, is even better and greater news than what some folks think. Hallelujah Praise God

Answer is "YES"! financial wealth is part of being made whole in every area of life. It is the blessing of the Lord that makes one rich. Mammon has no influence on a man who loves and trust in God and God alone. The gold streets and your mansion in heaven is a clear example.

God definitely wants His children to be very prosperous like Abraham, David, Solomon, et.al.! But we have to have the Faith and Obedience to His commands as written in His "Book of Instruction Before Leaving Earth" (BIBLE). Mat 6:33 says we seek first God's kingdom, and all these things (riches) will be added unto us; Malachi 3:10 teaches us to part a tenth of our income, produce, etc. and God will open up the windows of heaven and pour His blessings upon us that we won't have enough room to contain it! And He even dared us to test Him on this! Psalm 23:1 says God is my shepherd, I shall not want (or I will lack nothing); Psalm 35:27 says the Lord delights in the well-being (i.e.prosperity) of his servant. Psalm 34:10b says those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing; Adam (and us) were supposed to have dominion over the riches of the Earth which God created for us but he (Adam) succumbed to the wiles of the devil (thus disobeyed God's instruction) and surrendered the dominion and riches to unbelievers who are under the influence of satan; but God loved us so much He gave his one and only Son Jesus (John 3:16) to destroy the works of satan so that (see John 10:10b) we could live an abundant life (as opposed to satan's who came but to kill, steal and destroy.) Definitely God wants us to be very prosperous but we have to first repent of our sins and acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, and, as our Savior, Redeemer and Lord. But we have to be careful to put God first above ourselves and the riches he gives us by being generous to others and supporting the works of those in the Ministry of winning lost souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!
