He definitely has enough videos out there when freestyling on live streams with viewers holding up items and that sort of thing, if you want to check those out. I won’t hate on the skepticism at all, this was the first video of him that I saw too so I was doing the same thing- but what did it for me was that he went in on so many different types of beats in the video and it would be nearly impossible to change any pre-written verses to adapt to all those beats and he rode each one differently. And very well too he’s pretty nice with the different flows. If anything I appreciate that you would be skeptical as a dude that has freestyled before. But then when you start to dive in and hear all his stuff similar to this you realize he is just gifted like that. W reaction for sure

hmack is the freestyle goat. what he's able to do with a given word or topic is so much more than any other freestyler i seen. he doesn't leave it up to debate whether it was a freestyle or not which is why the hmack glaze should be expected and not crazy. AJ is dope af too, imo he has a better sound/flow/cadence than hmack but his ability to use the words that he's given is still elementary

Duane is completely justified in his skepticism on whether it was completely off the dome. When it comes to off the dome freestyles, ability to rap goes hand in hand with the ability to convince the audience that it's actually off the dome. When Harry Mack freestyles, he doesn't leave it up to question. He makes it a point to drill every given word into dust by using it as a punchline, throwing it into a setup/scheme, and attacking it from multiple angles. AJ is a dope rapper with the complete package (the voice, flows, rhyme patterns, cadence, breath control) but has a lot of room to grow in regards to using given words more effectively to make it undeniable and irrefutable that he is in fact going off the dome. I used to freestyle a lot in high school and college (between classes, at parties, in the car while hotboxing, etc..) and the most challenging thing is staying on topic for more than a bar or two. It's a lot more comfortable to freestyle about whatever pops to your mind but it takes a different discipline to force your mind to stay on topic.

12:25 the "google and chrome" bar is doable in a freestyle, for me it depends on how fast the beat is, otherwise more complex bars are possible. One thing though is sliding in bars you've played around with previously is something Eminem said JuiceWrld did, and its something I've adapted as well. So I get you there

Its going to happen faster than everyone thinks. Someone is going to be inspired by this and start at 10 years old. Its not a rare skillset Harry has he just happens to have the deepest love for hip hop. Any person slightly on the spectrum could generate this skill. They just need to have a love for hip hop so deep they cant stop. Eventually it's gonna happen sooner than everyone thinks. The actual challenge is will that person be as dope of a human being as Harry Mack. His talent isn't so much the freestyle part as how he effortlessly sells himself. Just by being himself. His marketable skill is him as a human. People will freestyle as good as harry or better and soon but can they get seen and reach as far. If not then publicly they will never get the shine yo overtake harry.

Throwing words in and not doing it as well literally means nothing. For example if you give a soccer player a ball and tell them to kick it across the length of a field they’ll probably be able to do it somewhat consistently but then if you tell them to do it but score a goal too with a couple people in the way, it’s more likely they’ll make some but also miss some. It’s way easier to freestyle with your own words than with given words
