LITTLE ROCK CALIFORNIA - Today marks the sixth anniversary of the suspicious disappearance of Monique Figueroa, a Littlerock mother who was last seen driving away from her home in the 7200 block of East Avenue U-12 around 4 a.m. on May 19, 2015.
Monique Figueroa had left her then 2-year-old daughter in the care of her family, who reported her missing several days after she left home. Her car, a 2004 Mercedes-Benz, was recovered 11 days later in an abandoned shed in Juniper Hills. There was no sign of Monique Figueroa, but authorities said there were signs of foul play inside the car.
Jeff Figueroa on Wednesday made a fresh appeal to the public for information on his daughter’s disappearance.
“I would like to ask for the public’s help in bringing my daughter home and giving my family closure, we really need it,” Jeff Figueroa said in a telephone interview. “Here we are six years later and not one arrest. I want to get the public’s attention and let them know there is still a $20,000 reward out there.”
“If they need to call me privately with information, I want them to call me,” he added, asking that his number, 661-944-7805, be published.
A $20,000 reward for information leading to arrests and conviction in Monique Figueroa’s disappearance was reestablished by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on April 4. [View the reward info. here.] Investigators believe reinstating the reward might encourage witnesses to come forward with information that could help provide closure for Monique Figueroa’s family.
Jeff Figueroa told ABC7 the day after his daughter’s car was found that her boyfriend had been recently arrested in a murder case and she was known to hang out with gang members. He said he believed some of those acquaintances feared she would become a witness against them, though authorities told “Dateline NBC” that Monique Figueroa had refused to cooperate in the investigation.
Investigators questioned people Monique Figueroa had contact with and checked her cell phone and bank records for clues, but found no trail of cell phone or credit card use following her disappearance.
Homicide investigators received a tip in 2016 that Monique Figueroa’s remains might be buried off the 11000 block of Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale. But a search by detectives, cadaver scent dogs and coroner’s personnel did not yield results.
Monique Figueroa’s loved ones have created a Facebook group to bring attention to her case. They’re encouraging local residents to join the group at: / 931897796872928

My dad went missing in 2019 and it seems me and my siblings had no help with potential suspects law enforcement and detectives ignored and still ignore his case til this day ☹️ we all wonder what happens to missing people cases

Matthew Wallace is not who you think he is. He's a very shady person. I'm a retired district attorney. I've had sheriff's deputies tell me that Matthew Wallace wants to be the only news agency in the antelope valley & he will do anything to knock people out of the way. Steve is the real boots on the ground always has been. When I confronted Matthew Wallace about telling deputies that Steve Is just a cop hating auditor he ran from my questions. I've had deputies also tell me he has told them this. The thing is most deputies respect Steve because he stands his ground & stands with the constitution . Matthew Wallace is not who he claims to be at all. Very two faced. Steve will be better without this guy.

Good job Steve. Props to you for getting an unexpected meeting and conducting yourself like you do. At least I think it was an unexpected sighting of him??? Regardless of whether you thought he might be there or not, you do a good job talking with people; that can't be easy. So that brings me to my first question? What was he doing there that day? I get that there may be a need to occasionally go by a property like that, he could have several innocent reasons to do so or none. He said the property isn't for sale. He has several properties and likely lives in a nice place. What's he putting in a water line for? Future rental/lease? For what? What was ho doing there that day? Regarding his ability to call the tow truck driver after not being able to get a call connected to Police. Upon learning that the tow truck operation is a neighbor at that site, I thought maybe he just went to the Tow Operations site/house right there, but he does says that he called him. He "might" have used the word called him as a general term, but being the tow operation is right there (and the cop suspicious cop is there too, I think it's all suspect even if he didn't make a slip there. He may have said he called (not went right over)the tow driver because he didn't want to point you right to the fact the tow driver operation is his neighbor there but that's suspicious too. It's a good catch and it might show deception, but I think whether he went there or called him, no matter what, it's suspicious. lol The tow driver probably knew it was parked there to begin with. Look forward to the second part.

QUESTION--The Metal Gate that is gating the entrance of that property which is in front of the white car he is sitting on--Was that gate there at the time her car was put into that shed he alledges he found it in then had it towed???? Does the Gate have a lock on it?????When was that gate installed??? He never mentions he found the gate open or if he kept it locked and the locked was broken. How did he pay the alledged tow truck driver??? If he owns a lot of property it seems he would have a receipt or used a charge card..I bet if questioned he will say no he is a friend and did it for nothing. He does seem to go into a lot of details but not in the things you want him to tell you about. When was the property/house last used such as water, cristen, and septic tank??? In the state of California, it is legal for a private property owner to have a vehicle towed on his or her property without asking for permission from the state or police. I would've reported it this case because it was on a run down vacant property making it very suspect that a car was hidden there. This guy knew better than just to have it towed off his property.

If I owned lawn like this and there was a stand alone garage that no one used daily and l haven’t been there daily - and went out one day & saw a car parked like it had been ditched, and someone has nailed a board to the opening of the garage so you couldn’t see it as easily, I would FOR SURE call law enforcement ONE WAY OR ANOTHER EVEN IF I HAD TO DRIVE 15 minutes DOWN THE ROAD FOR SERVICE!

Does he owns the land in front were you flew your drone? He knows something for sure hes constantly looking and points towards the front land were the tanks are every time he metion her case. Time 9:17 and 11:01, 16:55 for example.. mind you back in 2015 was only one water tank now theres 2.. also there's a off road that goes inside deep in the creek behind the mountain and by looking through google earth in year 2017 you will see some discrepancies in the area. Off road route and water tanks are in the direction hes constantly looking as he talks to you.. for sure shes not in the house but in the land in front. Thats just my guess. Perhaps i migh take a look at the area.. California State Constitution, Article 10, Section 4 the land is private property but the "creek is not" so i can hike up through the creek .. thanks for everything you do we need more people like you bro.. cheers
