I've been playing this after swiping it from the start of your tournament stream. My Hades keep getting popped by Madam Medusa every time I face off against Ruby. But I've loved using the Talisman with Stitch & Queen rush. And it felt extra good to use Detective Mickey with a Talisman to do something useful with him after he inked a card

talisman is super fun to play for sure, hades is hit or miss, can sub him out for medusas yourself depending on meta.

I liked your video very much and tried the deck. Didn't perform that well against ruby amethyst. They have better locations (queens castle) and medusa your hades' & Hirams. Some cards still feel odd (Teeth, Hydra and and 2 ink gramma tala). But maybe i just didn't pilot the deck very well.

ruby amethyst should be a tough matchup no matter what, have to play perfect and squeeze in every bit of lore i think to keep up.

Neat build! Interested in trying it! So if you're rocking an emerald steel deck or amber steel against ruby sapphire, what are the best strats/ways to attack it from that end of it? Set of rise of the titans amongst other item/location removal.

from testing, it seems to be very very rough for emerald steel. I've been testing te fiti more and that feels super good vs discard lines since you're not inking from hand. Might need to play benjas + rise of titans to make the matchup bearable. Maybe wildcat starts making main decks? lol

What do you think of Sher Khan in this deck? If the idea (at least from what I’m garnering) is to make your opponents challenge your beefy locations lest they get out of control and then smash them with things like stitch and heihei, he seems like a decent choice to passively gain more lore off challenges.

Shere khan just doesn't bring enough to the table to warrant a slot. He's just a bit too understatted with not enough immediate impact. And being in the 3 drop slot when you have a lot of other 3 drops you want to be playing really hurts.

I feel like Sapphire has it all - ramp, card draw, targeted removal, big questers, big locations, healing. The only things is doesn’t have are: evasive, multi-target removal, challenger. But all the things it has are great for the goal of the game, which is 20 lore. If monocolor deck challenges were a thing, I feel like Sapphire would come out on top.

titans are a bit too slow, jafar does everything in purple steel better than titans. I think the only decent titan is the purple 4/4 one but even then he's kind of average.

Is this why I've been playing ruby/sapphire decks today? Really interesting stuff! Any thoughts against the Emerald/Amethyst matchup? I was running a budget version for a video and I didn't seem to have too many issues so far against this deck.

emerald amethyst can be a bit too aggro for red blue with merfolk opens on the play but the defensive stitch/hei hei version should combat it better I would think. Might need to throw in some teeth to combat it better.
