If you like motorcycle adventure mixed with vlogging, you came to the right place!
I will be showing you the beauty of this planet from a different angle, the one of a motorcycle rider with a GoPro camera.
I started the channel a little too late, as I started only to properly document the ride from Pakistan Onwards (at least for KZbin purpose) but I will be posting new videos on a regular basis, at least twice a week.

The military presence is more because of the AMARNATH YATRA going on. And ofcourse it is a very sensitive area. Have a safe and wonderful ride Frenchy ✌️🙌 And i think those tents you saw were the base camp of AMARNATH YATRA trek.

Hey Pierre. Generally there is no military on the road. This month Hindu religion people go for pilgrimage to Kashmir for Lord Mahadev and there is militants attack threat possibility(happened in the past). The tents you saw belonged to Basecamp from where the pilgrimage starts

It's a wrong info, in Kashmir you will find army and paramilitary personnel standing 15-30m distance mostly covering whole Jammu and Kashmir as I know and asked locals, 9.5 lacs army and paramilitary been deployed there. But not in Ladakh( no military on the road). Went there 5 days ago. Went both j n k and ladakh( beautiful place). Our jawans ,(military) they are the real hero defending inside and outside.. jai hind..

everything like culture, food, music, history that belongs to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Sri Lanka etc is also originated from India. Turkey also affected by our culture during their rule to India for around 300yrs. khan's from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan etc also ruled india for some times. this is how their respective food structure with Indian style of cooking gives today's shape of India vast Verity of foods. most of these regions are actually called Bharat or Hindustan before invasion happened 1600yrs ago. eventually divided atleast 15 parts and the rest of Bharat that also called India has current boundary to protect from invaders till date.

In 1999 a war took place in the drass sector which is in Kargil region. There was an agreement between India and Pakistan to vacate all top mountain post in winters as both sides were loosing their soldiers due to the unpredictable weather in peak winter. But pakistan breached the agreement, and crossed the ceasefire line and took occupied all top mountain peaks which were vacated by Indian army in winter. Actually they wanted to block the Srinagar to Leh highway by controlling the top mountain so that they can cut the Ladakh region from India because as you know the Manali to Leh highway is capable for heavy army machineries and due to the weather that highway remains not in good shape most of the time.. Finally, the cowards were driven out and India reclaimed all peaks within 17 days. Thanks to the India army as they are the reason you are able to roam freely in this region. The Indian army is very friendly and helpful. You can ask for any help if you don't have reserve petrol, food, accomodation, medical emergency, sense of insecurity etc.

you are lucky to drive through zozilla pass as in few years we will have tunnel to by-pass it. In 1948 , pakistan occupied the heights of zozilla and at that time this zozilla pass width was around 3-5 feet and you could travel using horses/mules. Indian army engineers constructed the road under heavy shelling and tanks were brought here and hence Pakistanis were dislodged as they were amused and bewildered seeing tanks at these heights.

When you drove from zozilla pass towards kashmir, the area where you saw tents is baltal village. As others pointed out, the tents are the base camps for annual hindu pilgrimage (amarnath yatra). The pilgrims trek to holy cave which is located somewhere behind the steep mountain you saw from zozilla pass. There is another route to holy cave from pahalgam town (which you may visit during your trip). Heavy security you saw on the route is for the protection of pilgrims. Sonamarg and pahalgam both are scenic tourist destinations.
