I believe this platform is capable it just needs the right parts to make it great. The parts I would use to build would be: group n mount, thicker rear sway bar, pitch stop, front/rear struts, coils, tires, rear a arms, and weight reduction.

It feels more stiff going from a 15 to 22. The understeer is more significant with the raised height tho the steering is sharper and more responsive.

I think the GR86 or BRZ would be a better platform if you plan to learn driving dynamics and be a better driver overall since it’s rear wheel drive.
