I have a feeling that if a studio were to take over this game, instead of releasing 3 remastered versions, they would create one game with all the improvements, which would be called LittleBigPlanet 4 or HUB...

Personally, I believe that Sony should revive the LittleBIGPlanet Hub concept, but as a full on remaster of the first 3 games like Crash/Spyro reignited trilogy with Unreal Engine (The same engine Sackboy a Big Adventure used). Though-- let's be honest lol... LBP1 had some poorly aged content which wasn't very appropriate for children. (Looking at you, Meerkats..) So they might need to cut "the Meerkat Kingdom" level just to keep the PG rating They still haven't deleted the trailer from the official channel, and the account still has the Tweet up about it. So they COULD theoretically revive the idea as a new game. Remaking all the original assets from scratch. While yes-- would take a lot longer, would benefit them more long-term if they decide to make an LBP4, as it'd give us better servers (no more peer-to-peer + Better security), as well as saving all our materials/DLCs/costumes for the next game.

Lbp3 was half baked it wasn't just bugs the main campaign and gimmicks were also very bland or underused.

Remaster the first 3 LBP games into a single collection, add as much dlc as they can reobtain the licenses for (And add the powerups and tools seperately for the dlc they cant get the licenses renewed for), bring back all the community levels from the og games online servers, boom, easy money.

​@@erdbeerkotze5795 they didn't really have a choice in the matter. Sumo Digital stepped away and Sony had no clue how to fix these decade old servers. The servers were vulnerable, that's why the original LBP, LBP2, LBPK, and LBPV servers were closed down, that's why the LBP3 servers were closed down. It was an unfortunate chain reaction. Given Sumo Digital has stepped away, I feel like only two companies can save this franchise, Sony, of course, and Media Molecule. Media Molecule and Sumo Digital were the only teams who knew this game franchise, if it's not Sumo who will do it, then Media Molecule is our last chance

Remastered and expanded. However, I don't see them doing it because each game is a replacement for the last and almost nobody liked the third one. I'd have expected LBP4 to have been either a consolidation of all three or Sackboy with user created content.

The problem with 3 wasn't that it was a bad game, but.. Because it was a broken game, especially at launch which really soured many people's experience.. If it weren't for how rushed the game was out the door.. Many people actually would actually enjoy LBP3.

@HippyDipps The hiccups definitely didn't help, but honestly, I didn't like the general setup...the way you progressed through it etc. ...or the fact that not all of your stuff from previous games was available. I couldn't even get my trains to work properly, so I quickly lost interest and never even finished it.

Imo at least one the first could use one. Unlike the last of us they 1 changed ownership so a different team would work on them and 2 online experiences first and foremost they beat mariomaker to the punch by almost half a decade. So even if everything in the game is the same it will be very different since the players the played the og are now much older and many new people will also create.

are they gonna remastered from lbp 1 to 3 and 2 or make fourth game little big planet 4? by the way if u go to their website and scroll down to the bottom little big planet section theres a purple dual sense controller which could mean like a teaser for the 4 game or just remastered because they said they were gonna do a another live service game it wont be dreams or any other game so it might be a hint or teaser for little big planet 4? also i sub u might be right since they did remastered crash and other games have been tooo hey nice spidey costum i did find way to decal mravel dlc pack got spidey :)

To me, it’ll be such a big and great project that almost all the LBP games (such as LBP 1, LBP 2, LBP 3, and LBP Karting, but I don’t know about the LBP PSP and Vita because those games require PS Vita and PSP) to be combined into one package will look pretty awesome, and LittleBigPlanet will be recognized slightly quick if it happens, but let’s have faith that LBP is still surviving and still going even though there’s little players, and yet among those players are still creating levels Even though I tried to create one, but I don’t have good talent on coding and landscape 🥲
