Great History beth also Glendale is close to Griffith Park and Hollywood my aunt lived in Glendale in Los Feliz by Griffith Park thank you for the History hope you and drew are safe during the fire 🩷

So interesting. I live up north and we have several ghost cities around here. Now, mostly city districts are called by those defunct cities names. I'm old enough to have known residents of those defunct cities.

Thank you. My maternal grandparents lived on Tropico Ave in Whittier. It was built in 1953. I thought the street name was appropriate for Grandma. The back yard was very nicely landscaped around the sides, with a concrete-paved center for the many festive parties on her patio. She was always sewing a new flowered party dress, or making party favors or center-pieces for an upcoming party.
