@@michaels9595 It's kind of an overall thing, not really related to the comics. All the principals on the show (Taylor, the director, the editors etc) are still trying to find their footing, and as a result the pacing felt off. But you can see in the later episodes that people are more in sync, and everything flows just a little bit better.

@@johnsondunn Not this time. This one is produced by Stephen Colbert and his people. It does have the original showrunner still attached though. I recall reading somewhere that they brought it to Colbert specifically so he'd have some skin in the game and use his show to help promote After Midnight to give it a better shot at success.
