DOES MIAMI HAVE THE BEST OFFENSE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL?

Miami looks to have one of the best offenses in college football for the 2024 season. The Hurricanes return Xavier Restrepo and Isaiah Horton as one of the best receivers in college football. But the transfers take this offense to the next level. Cam Ward transferred from Washington State and turned down the chance to go to the NFL. Ward is one of the best quarterbacks in college football and the best in the ACC. Miami needed the run game to be explosive but was missing a key piece. Damien Martinez transferred from Oregon State where he put up big numbers in his 2 seasons. Miami also added Sam Brown to add depth to the receiver room.

Miami has a very strong OLine, a potential NFL quarterback and 3 day 3 nfl draft picks at receiver in Restrepo, J George and now Sam Brown, not to mention a young Isiah Horton, who is 6’4 and highly regarded, and was one of Cam Ward’s favorite receivers in the spring. With the addition of RB Martinez, to go with Fletcher, that’s 2 backs that are big boys and then they have a couple of good speedy backs, as well. On paper they do look like they could be special. 😊

Good stuff here. A lot of valid points without mentioning Miamis loaded TE room is finally healthy and will provide another pass catching element that vanished last season. Also Cam Ward had another 40 yard TD strike in the spring game that came back. That would’ve had him at 80% passing with four touchdowns and 400 yards in a spring game 😮

I would say Ohio State’s defense is better than their offense this year. Losing a guy like Marvin Harrison Jr is a huge loss but the silver bullets are back this year.
