your ram capacity wont really affect much, your ram speed and timings will. if you overclock your ram from 3200mhz at cas latency 16 >> 3600mhz at cas 16, you will have a small improvement.

I guess I should’ve mentioned that it was set at around 1600mhz and I clocked it to 3600mhz

It’s not supposed to take all of it, you really only need a minimum of 8gb of ram for fortnite to be playable

@BSrm69 are you getting low fps at all? You can check the task manager to see what’s using up all of your ram
