A little correction, Daud. Muslims do not eat pork simply because Allah SWT forbids us so. Whatever health or logical reasons behind it, it is only a hikmah (lesson), not the main reason. You kinda get into it at some point at your explanation but just to clear some misinformation. Anyway, keep work hard on what you are doing. We will always support you :D

Yes you are right, the teachings of Islam are built on the argument, not on human logic. Of course sometimes we need logic to explain and reinforce our arguments, but that is not the main reason why we obey Allah's commands. We obey Allah's commands because that is what is written in the Quran (this is what Daud should have said at the beginning of the explanation to his mother). And whatever logical reasons behind it is only hikmah (lessons) and only supporting tools, not the main reason. If truth must be based on human logic, then how much will the teachings of Islam that we will reject just because we consider it to be incompatible with our logic and desires. This is not yet understood by Daud Kim.

As long as our Intention in heart is to obey and not to be arrogant towards Allah's orders. We have free wills. And we are pre-destined. And there is no conflict between free will and pre-destination. Because we always see things turn out differently(pre-destination) when our intentions(free will) were something else. This is why life is easier and purposeful when we believe in divine guidance. We are not just happy accidents and bio-chemicals like the atheists claim. The Quran wasn't revealed to us to be miserable and unhappy and stiff. It's continuous and complete guidance with ease and happiness and hope. 😊😊😊😊Have a great day today. It's not forbidden in Christianity. Jesus taught what comes out of the mouth is what defiles the body not what is put in. "What comes out of a man is what defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adultery, fornication, murder, theft, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man." Jesus. Mark 7: 20-23 Pork in general is not very healthy and our bodies should be treat as holy temples of the Holy Spirit so it is advisable not to eat much of it. But it is no longer prohibited doctrinally under the New Covenant.
