What I've noticed is the older I get the more intense the pure O themes get, the rumination tends to decrease though which to me makes sense because if you're not stressing the thoughts as much your brain will just find alternative crap for you to worry about

No matter how hard OCD tries to convince you otherwise, It is important to remember that life is full of good things and bad things. If something bad happens it is not because OCD was right, it's just part of life.
