Does overlanding = mall crawler ?

Roof top tents on rigs that never go camping, Overlanding stuff all over the mall parking lot, and off road optional? What is overloading to you? This is such a heated topic with people I know, on the internet, and in the parking lot. The fact is most people like stuff that is cool even if they don't use it for what it's supposed to do (old guys in brand new corvettes doing 15 under the speed limit comes to mind). Now it's off road overland rigs to drive around town that never leave the pavement! At the end of the day people can do what they want to do with their money (and we can make fun of them for it! too) Enjoy the 4th this post was just my fun rant and I'm a bit more relaxed now and will enjoy the 4th with family and friends! Get out and explore more than the pavement in whatever you are driving!
